Pages 458 Pearl St Customers:

Recently the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission added to their policy a new requirement that includes a personal signature for any and all debts whether by store break-ins,fire,or any other loss. We have been agents since 1973, the beginning of the Lottery and signed a contract where no personal signature was required. After 37 years of partnership with the lottery, they decided to changed the rules and require everyone to sign regardless of the contracts currently in place. We have explained this to the Lottery, but they refuse to listen. In addition we have indicated that when I pass along Page's to my family, they could sign personally if they chose to do so. We have always' met our commitment with the lottery, and there are no other issues outstanding. No other vendor or company requires a personal signature, why should they? We are sorry for any inconvenience we cause our customers and have always' tried to service your needs. We will no longer be agents of the Massachusetts State Lottery!

Sincerely

Gerald Goulston,Treasurer
